Cashtaq uses a local-first design: your data is stored primarily on your device, protected by PIN, biometric lock, and a privacy splash screen. Cloud backups are encrypted and we never sell your data.

Can I use Cashtaq without internet?

Yes. Most Cashtaq features work fully offline, including adding transactions, viewing balances, and running reports. Guest Mode for family sharing also works over your local network without internet.

Can I share accounts with my family?

Yes. Guest Mode lets family members add transactions to shared accounts over your local Wi-Fi network using a simple 6-digit pairing code. No account or internet connection is required for guests.

What platforms does Cashtaq support?

Cashtaq is currently available for Android on the Google Play Store. We are exploring support for additional platforms in the future.

Does Cashtaq support multiple currencies?

Yes. Cashtaq supports 160+ currencies with primary and secondary currency support, so you can track finances across borders and accounts in different currencies.

Can I track physical gold and silver?

Yes. Metal Accounts let you track physical gold and silver holdings with live prices, purity support, and profit/loss calculations.

How do I back up my data?

Cashtaq offers secure cloud backup and sync. Premium plans include automatic backups, and you can also export your data manually at any time.

Does Cashtaq sell my data?
